San Teodoro after Typhoon Nina

While the rest of the world was busy preparing for the holidays last December, Philippines was pre-occupied anticipating for Typhoon Nina.  It then made its landfall in several parts of the country and have killed at least 6 as of December 27 as reported by Philstar.  One of the affected areas was San Teodoro in Oriental Mindoro.

A friend has sent me these photos showing how Typhoon Nina (international name Nock-Ten) affected their area, especially San Rafael Elementary School.

Emmie, my friend, has mentioned that the school and its pupils would greatly appreciate any assistance to help them recover from Nina’s aftermath.  The kids need school supplies and any help is being looked forward to by San Rafael Elementary School.

These images also show how some houses in the town have been ravaged by the Typhoon, leaving them a gloomy holiday.

Unlike the other places that were broadcasted in the news and other Social Media, San Teodoro has only received little help.  For any assistance for the kids, school or community, kindly get in touch with the school principal, Ms.  Marizel Tuazon thru +639199924975.
